The practice

An unhurried start to the day

Tai Chi trades speed for intention. Each slow form links breath to movement, building quiet strength, steadier balance and a clearer head.

Practised on the lawn in the cool of the morning, our sessions suit every age and level of mobility. Newcomers are guided through the opening forms; regulars work toward the long form and standing meditation.

What to expect

Gentle by design

A low-impact practice that meets you at your own pace, led outdoors in the garden.

Low impact

Soft, flowing movement that is kind on joints -ideal for building balance and mobility at any age.

In the open air

Sessions run on the garden lawn at dawn, moving indoors only if the weather turns. Flat shoes are all you need.

Steadier by the week

Regular practice sharpens focus and posture. Beginners start with the opening forms and build from there.
